I'm new to the forum, but work with a hi-performance, high-end audio manufacturer, and we have a lot of headphones in our office, and have decided that maybe we need to manufacture a headphone stand that does more than just keep your headphones off the floor.
Any thoughts on what other functions a headphone stand should have other than holding your headphones?

Thanks! I look forward to any and all input! :D

Have you checked out the Geek Force forum on the designs some people are submitting? They are definitely on the same page. Awesome ideas.. very creative!

I guess I'm still too new to this forum, not allowed to post links yet.. but you can go to LH Labs dot com and check out the yellow highlighted announcement tab when you get into the forum.

My link might pop up once it's approved..

Indeed, *someone* has. Have a pair of Denon D2000s that rest on them. They are cheap, but look expensive and sleek and European.

I have some of your products and love them, but what I have works well and is a lot less expensive.

Not very high end, but I have one of these screwed into the underside of a number of computer tables for exactly the purpose you have described.

Drilling a pilot hole helps with the installation.

I'm thinking that some flexible tubing could make them look a little more high tech.

Though not finished yet the price was right (free-made with scraps) and they are handy at the ready:

There are three for a reason:

Good; Sennheiser HD555 - modded

Better: Denon AH-D5000

Best: OPPO PM-2 (due in June)

No sooner than one day after I build my free-from-scrap headphone holders than my wife (who frowns on all things AV related) brings me a nice little headphone stand she picked up from some home decor store for $6.00.

Matches my Sennheisers perfectly

AND it is Justice League approved!

It is? Crap. I wondered why my headphones were smelling kind of ripe.
