Our Nakamichi 1 clock radio -- with the satellite that included a speaker / clock display / limited buttons -- just died. With a king-sized bed, having that second clock display was really ideal. The audio quality was quite adequate for what we listen to and the tuner performed well enough. We've had it for 20 years, so I guess its time was up. Is there something available to replace it nowadays? In particular, I am looking for a clock radio (AM required, internet OK) with a second clock display in a satellite unit (either wired or wireless) that we can put on the other side of the bed. Any recommendations? Thanks!

The Phillips DC390 is a very nice unit that you may want to look at.

I still have a Nakamichi 1, and they are a unique product.

The Tivoli Audio Model 10 and Model 2 are probably the closest thing on the market to the Nakamichi.

Check the Tivoli Audio website.

None of the satellites have a clock, though; clocks are

My Nak 1 gave up the fight years ago, I never found anything that could replace it.
