Audyssey Setup

First time calibrating, are these normal results? Also I have 2 bookselfs (kef ls50) as my L R but audyssey is reading them as large. I also have an outlaw sub. If I change from large to small does it cancel the calibration since it can only be changed on manual setup? This is for movie watching. Any help would be appreciated. Oh the receiver is an denon x2000

1. Looks fine.
2. No problem; you can switch from Large to Small. ..And it won't affect Audyssey EQualization.

* To help you more, check the Audyssey Setup Guide, and Audyssey FAQ. ...Few prominent members here have them links in their sig.

Set your speakers to small. You will probably want the crossover at 80Hz. See where it says your sub trim is -12.0dB? This means your sub is too loud. You need to turn the sub down to about 30-40% and re-run Audyssey. The goal is to get the trim level in the receiver for the sub to 0dB (or with 0.5dB). Once you find the right position for the volume knob on the sub, leave it there, and change the volume in the receiver if you want more/less bass. Also make sure the sub crossover setting is at the maximum, this disengages the subs low-pass filter and let the receiver handle bass management.

Here ya go--this links to some of the best advice I have found on AVS about anytbhing:

"Official" Audyssey thread (FAQ in post #51779)

And that thread, though sometimes contentious, has a host of very helpful people to help you get the best results with Audyssey (first step--buy the inexpensive boom mic stand and do the calibration again--it makes the job easier, and some say you get better results than with a camera tripod).
