Sound Card Audio Issues

Hello everyone, I was hoping somebody might have some insight to this audio problem I'm having with my ASUS Xonar Essence STX. I've been using it for quite some time in a PC running Win 7. It's hooked up analog out to an emotiva mini X amp to my desktop speakers, as well as digital coax to my Anthem MRX and some Energy RC 70's. All of a sudden the left channel is muted and only sounds like it playing at 10% volume compared to the right. When I route the music to the Anthem I get the same thing, muted volume from the left speaker. I have installed the latest drivers and reseated the card physically and nothing works. So I'm at a total loss as to what to do next. Any ideas or insights?

Did the balance control get bumped?

I'll be back later...

There doesn't appear to be a slider bar, just a min/max volume setting.

Look harder...

Control panel -> Sound -> Playback Devices -> Your Device -> Levels -> Balance Button

I'll be back later...

Aha.... Thanks Raydunzl, I was looking only at the asus software not windows. I'm completely baffled as to how one level could have gotten changed. Now i don't have to replace it.
