Add me to the Kevin Moore "'Keb Mo'" fan club. He is easily my favorite blues artist.

Nothing cuts me to the quick like Buddy Guy's Guitar Solo in "Feels Like Rain"

I saw Buddy Guy at Welibski's Blue Saloon in St. Paul MN.

http://www.wilebskiblues.com/

For his finale, rather than a medley of song, he played a medley of Styles. The same song over and over in a new style. - Muddy Water, Clarence Gatemouth Brown, Howlin' Wolf, and he finished with Jimi Hendrix and absolutely blew the roof off the joint. A very intimate venue, tremendous concert.

The Strypes (UK) cover a lot of Little Walter - fantastic harmonica.

The Strypes
- "Smokestack Lighting" (Howling Wolf) -

There are still young people who get the blues.

Dang. I wish your reminded me of Steve before I went past the music store.(But my wallet thanks you)
I need to check to see if they have any remixes of his performances.
Remixes are a hit and miss affair but some times they're worth it

If memory serves there were the originals and a remaster
Set with extra tracks and commentary by Stevie.
I didn't notice any difference in sound quality though.

There is also an outstanding box set.
http://www.amazon.com/SRV-VAUGHAN-ST...ds=SRV+box+set

I've picked up some good DVD's over the years.

All of SRV's cd's were re-mastered to SACD too.
I picked up one (Texas Flood) but couldnt really
Hear much difference.

There is also this newer 12 CD box

That song was originally written for a jazz/blues singer.
Since then just about every one has covered it.
It's one of those songs that everyone has a idea of how it should be sung.
Not to mention limited tolerance for other versions.
