I use a Panasonic Toughbook CF-29 notebook computer, but it does not have a headphone or microphone jack. I like to listen to XM or Sirius online and the internal speakers don't sound very good. I would like to take the audio from the laptop computer and get it to the stereo speakers on the other side of the room. What sort of device would be most suitable to get the audio from the USB port to the stereo? I have seen some USB audio adapters, but I am not sure if any of them need software downloaded. I don't want to add any software, I just want something that will plug into the USB port and give me a 3.5 mm jack so that I can run a cable from the computer to the stereo.
