Question I have since I've got the PJ mount in place and I'm starting to think about this:
Is it possible for me to use an anamorphic lens with my Benq w1080st? I've read that some people have tried using an A-lens with short throw and it apparently causes really bad vignetting due to the throw ratio being too short? If I have the zoom at 1x and the PJ about 8ft from the screen could I still possibly use an A-lens or is the vignetting going to be an issue. Advice appreciated!
It is entirely possible that if I am just too unhappy with the short throw and an A-lens will not work in my situation that I might switch to the 1070 but I didn't exactly wire the room for that possibility so that would come with its own problems. Again thanks for any advice!
