I am trying to upgrade my dvd rv-27, so I managed to download this iso. I tried to burn it, both on dvd and cd, but when I put the disk in my dvd it says that it is an unsupported disk and won't play it. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Make sure you are burning it as a disc image, not as a data file.

I found instructions that said to do both, so do both I did. I burned the image (cd and dvd), pulled the files and folders off the .iso and burned them (cd and dvd), nothing seemed to work. My dvd would spin for about 3 minutes and then say unsupported disc or somesuch.

Are you using Windows? I've seen this utility recommended for burning ISO files: http://www.imgburn.com/

Have you used this media with this player? Could be they are not compatible. You might try a different brand.

Where did you find the file - I am in need of it as well. A link would be appreciated.
