My Oppo 981-HD is not well.
It won't open, close or react in any way. Won' respond to the remote. And I hear a faint click every 5 seconds.
Any idea on what to do with it?

Dig a hole, play taps and then bury it with honors.

Welcome to AVSForum.

Send an email to OPPO support. They give free advice on diagnostics and do-it-yourself repair.

If you want to have it repaired, they do fixed price out of warranty repair for something like $60, which includes one-way shipping. Do you like your 981 that much?
