It may be broken, but I just want to make sure that I am not making some silly mistake. I have never worked a 12V TV before, and the person who sold it to me told me that it works.

So now, what do I do? I plugged it into a 12V outlet. I know that the outlet works - it runs my inverter with my phone/laptop attached. I am almost 100% certain that the chord is plugged into the right spot on the TV, it is a hole that says "DC in". The TV isn't plugged into a cable or an antenna or anything. Nevertheless, when I push the ON button I expect something to happen: a light to come on, some static - something. And yet absolutely nothing happens, not even that noise that all TVs make when they come on.

Do I have a lemon on my hands, or am I doing something wrong.

Please Help

Welcome to AVSForum.

Try asking this in the "Car Audio, Video, and Nav" forum; I suspect they deal with this sort of issue: http://www.avsforum.com/f/160/car-audio-video-and-nav
