Portable DVD players

Is there a portable DVD player that will remember where on the disc it was when turned off AND has cue (fast forward) and review (rewind) features like old cassette tape recorders?

I'm 68 years old and like to listen to books on CD without headphones.

I have a Sony DVD player that remembers where it was when turned off, but doesn't cue and review; and I have an RCA DVD player with cue and review, but always restarts at the beginning of the disc when turned off.

I'd like a portable unit that does both. The CD player in my Subaru Forester operates this way, but it's inconvenient to take the car into the house.

Not sure what you mean by "cue and review" but my Sony portable DVD player remembers where you left off and has next/prev as well as visual FF and REW search....is this what you need?
