I cleared my cache and downloaded Flash 10. It doesnt't matter which browser. I get the same error message that says IE(or Firefox) encountered an error and must close. This happens when the ABC player is loading. There is no other error message.

Any body know what I can do, or if there is another place I can watch the ABC shows? Hulu just sends me to ABC. Really looking for Lost.

Not sure. I use the ABC player for Grey's Anatomy fairly regularly. Is there a help link at ABC.com?

No, they did have some help contact but they took it down. Also, from what I read they just provide canned, unhelpful responses.

I saw where someone else posted the same problem, it crashes at exactly 30% loaded - just like what happens to me. Many people are having problems with the ABC player - Hulu and others work fine. There is no where to go to get any real help. So those of us with problems are SOL.

To watch Lost I am going to either watch it in segments on youtube or wait till they repeat it on ABC.

Do you have a link to where people are reporting the problem? There might be a work-around buried somewhere.

Alisa on 12/31/2008 posted how she solved her problem. I didn't try it yet because is different than mine. The other things I have read were the clearing the cache and downloand Flash 10, which I have tried.

Edited to add: I tried the fix of editing Flash 10 settings(Alisa's fix mentioned above) and that didn't work. I also downloaded IE 7 and after that I went to abc and tried to download abc player and got an error message.
