I believe that the answers are yes, no and, if you mean does it output a 24Hz signal for 24p content, no. I can't be sure about the 3D, but if it was 3D-capable at all, I'm sure that there'd be 3D content in the iTunes library and there isn't.

I'm not a huge fan of the Win8 app. You can only see the last 5 "recently watched" titles and there really ought to be mouse-over pop-ups with descriptions; you have to click a poster thumb to see the description (sometimes you can't make out the title from the thumb). Also there are resolution restrictions on some titles when playing in any PC player; things which play back at 1080 res on an embedded player play at standard def or 720p in the Win8 app.

Do you know of any way to get the Win 8 app to respond to a remote? - or is it only workable with a mouse or touch? So, far I've had to use my Logitech K400, where I'd much rather use my Harmony remote.

Nope--it won't respond to IR remote control for me. Windows Media Player, Zune and VLC all respond (no doubt many, many others), but not the Netflix app .

Bluetooth maybe? Just picked up a Yoga 3 this weekend and along with it my first experience with Win 8.1 and was wondering about Bluetooth or IP control for remotely controlling the device while mirroring to a display. Like a smart phone app for example.

I was speaking specifically of response by the Win8 Netflix app to commands from an A/V remote control. I should think that'd be independent of the mechanism for sending those commands, be it IR or some form of RF like Bluetooth.

Ah, okay, I see what you're saying, the Netflix app doesn't respond as the other apps do.

I did find this post that details how to setup a script for AutoHotKey - looks like it might work.
