I need a motion sensor camera combo that can upload the pictures to a laptop or cell phone remotely. Any info on who or where I could go to buy this or have it built would be great. OR info where I could post this request at a better forum site.

Mobotix cameras are the cream of the crop for this purpose. Hi res with full motion sensing. Video or snapshots. On-board storage on SD card. Expensive too. You can view with any browser equipped computer over the web or local network. The camera will automatically upload all events to another computer if you want.

You can find cheaper ones, but not better ones.

FANTASTIC, thanks Dan! I need this for a remote area. It needs to send the photos over an attached cell phone, sorta like a game camera, but for my Cabin deep in the woods. I know I will have to supply a power source. The key is, it needs to automatically send the photo's to a cell or laptop, when it gets tripped by the motion sensor. Any ideas>? Is there a website where I could find someone to build me this item custum?

Without a local internet connection, you are talking some custom stuff. The Mobotix cameras require an internet connection, if you can connect it, then its easy to set up to email a picture of events or just an alert so you could then connect to the camera on line and view the event. They can be powered by 12VDC and they can have output contacts to trigger another device, but I don't think you'll find an easy way of getting a camera to interface with a phone.

You might need to find a smart phone with a camera and maybe you can customize it to do what you want. That's the route I would head down, unless you know of a way to get a remote internet connection (think mobile hot-spot).
