I strongly agree, but I guess we are the only 2 that want to watch the end credits on Netflix. I now use my WD Live and I don't like it as well as the PS3 but if Netflix starts blocking the end credits on it then I will cancel. I have called and complained several times, why can't this be turned off for my account?

Count me in I love watching the end credits as I grew up when TV networks use to show them.

Credit watcher here as well...I don't like it. Just last night I was watching a movie and wanted to catch the name of an actress I couldn't place, and had to waste time trying to get up to the video window. What's annoying is, instead of allowing you to go straight up, it goes over to the left ''Rate this movie'' box first, then you have to arrow over to the vid box. Then rewind a bit, only to have the credits reduced again. Usually, on the 3rd try (but not always), the credits will remain full screen. Yes I know I could look up the cast online somewhere, but that's not as nice as immediately finding out as the movie is ending...

Why won't they make this optional, or code it so it works as it does on the WD Live and Panny blu ray player?

I agree movies are the most annoying with shrinking credits. Some movies show extra stuff during the credits and a simple left click does not work. You really have to fumble with the arrow keys to get it to show the credits full screen which is a real PITA.

This is regarding Sony networked blu-ray players....

I had netflix autoplay but I updated the system and now it's gone.  Our newer sony blu-ray stil has autoplay.  Am I missing something? Is there a way to turn it back on? I just like 3-5 episodes to play in a row and then go to silence. I have adult ADD so it helps me sleep, haha (but really, it does).  Any suggestions?

Thanks everyone,

 kk

There must be some testing going on, because it seems to have been disabled for me on the PS3. For the last 3 or so weeks, only once has auto play happened, on a 2 part episode of Star Trek Enterprise. All other tv show titles I've watched, played all the way thru the end credits without interuption.

I wish it would stay disabled for good on my PS3 and Roku 3.

Netflix has now expanded the per-profile "Playback settings" to include a "Play next episode automatically" setting. I expected them to allow you to defeat Post-play altogether but unfortunately not; it will still shrink the credits for movies on some devices to display a set of recommended movies.

Just turned it off on both profiles. Have not had a chance to test it yet. It still stinks that it shrinks the credits hopefully they will give you the ability to turn that off too.

I just tried it on Roku 3. Sadly, it still shrinks the credits, displays an inset key frame and description of the next episode that you can click on to start it, but does start a countdown to start it automatically. They're definitely not listening to all of the customer objections rolleyes.gif.
