I noticed my WDTV Live is saying that Stargate SG-1 is 'Available until Aug 15'. A check of the Netflix site doesn't show any expiration in either my queue or the show's page. Just how long do they wait?

I checked with FeedFlix, and it also shows the August 15 date.

Luckily, I'm near the end of season 9. If I don't get all of S10 done, I guess I can add the disks for any leftover episodes.

TVandMoviesNow isn't showing it as expiring. Often titles will expire and be renewed on the next day, no doubt one content provider agreement expiring and the next one starting.

Atlantis has expired though...so this may not bode well for an immediate renewal. I had MGM's Jeremiah in my queue for ages, and it expired a year ago. Since Instant had several other MGM shows on, I'd assumed it would be back later. I'm still waiting. rolleyes.gif

Stargate Atlantis is still available on Amazon Prime in HD.

That may be but I'm not going to pony up $80/y just to watch pretty much a duplicate of what NF offers me.

NOW my queue on the web site, and the show's page, is showing SG1 expiring on the 15th.

Down to only 3 episodes left...

ARGH! I've been SO HAPPY watching SG-1 via NetFlix streaming. Today I hopped on the treadmill, fired up NetFlix and WHAT??? No Stargate! I'm really bummed. Ok, maybe mad. Why???? I was part way through season 5, so I'm a long ways away from finishing. Of course I was going to watch Atlantis next. I've see both series twice, and for some reason, it's the one show that keeps me going on the treadmill. It might actually be bad for my health that NetFlix has stopped the streaming!

I was watching when Stargate was yanked @ 1:36 a.m. mountain time this morning.
Had just finished episode 3 season 9, then it erred, and was gone.
Im trying to find a way to watch the rest of season 9 and season 10 at a price ive become accustomed to.
Very frustrating.

^Amazon Prime Instant service has both SG1 & ATL. You can get a free trial month and finish both if you wish. There's an Amazon app on the PS3, and Rokus. Otherwise, you'd watch on the pc

This is the monthly streaming service that comes as a free add on with a subscription to Amazon Prime, the service that offers 2 day shipping.  Not to be confused with Amazon Video, which is the pay per view/rental/digital download service. Titles there charge a fee to watch, rent or buy.

^ You're welcome. Just be sure to go to your account, under manage prime membership and Set it not to automatically renew. At the end of the month (30 days)' they will sign you up as a regular member and charge your CC.

It's been over a year now since I switched to Amazon Prime so I could watch my beloved Stargate. The streaming has been just fine, and I'm (finally) only a few episodes away from finishing the Atlantis series.

I generally stream to my 32" in front of the treadmill, and it looks great. But, I have streamed a few movies onto my 103" projector screen, and they looked very good. Not blu-ray a/v good, but good enough.

So, streaming is great, and costs less than NetFlix, PLUS I get that 2 day free shipping! I still get Blu-rays from NetFlix for the very best a/v experience. Happy camper here.

The new re-mastered StarGate SG-1 in HD is incredible for sure. It beats the hell out of old 4:3 format version, even though it does cut like 15% of the content from top and bottom. I only saw rip offs of the new version, but I bet the real thing is even better.

Which re-mastered Stargate SG-1 in HD are you speaking of? AFAIK there only the last 3 seasons of SG-1 are in HD and the first 7 seasons are still in same old SD as they've ever been.

XBOX Live: Wagmman
PSN: Wagg
BFBC2: Wagman
Steam: Wag

My Second Life character looks and acts exactly like me except he can fly.
