I see hulu+ has some of the most popular ones, like love it or list it and house hunters but is there some place I can find full episodes of "Income Property"? I've been looking all over... this is my favorite show and I really don't want to have to pay $140 a month just to watch this one show... What device do you recommend to watch HGTV shows, incl. Income Property on? Thanks!

As you've discovered, cord cutters can't get everything. Things like HGTV are subscription only. I suggest you get the cheapest cable or satellite package you can find. New customers can often get basic packages for as little as $30.

Unfortunately, the cheapest comcast package is about $100 in Cambridge Mass, and doesnt' include HD HGTV. I have to pay $137 for HD quality HGTV. sigh

Bummer. I get HD HGTV in a $40 package here. I use a CableCard tuner though.

Edit: Apparently the last three episodes are available @ Xfinity on Demand.

the way we get HGTV stuff is via Playon by sending HGTV episodes to my Tivo through Hulu and the HGTV plug in and through HGTV's iphone app airplayed to an apple tv

OTA | Netflix | Hulu+ | Amazon Prime | MLB.tv & MLS Live with No Blackouts!

But if you didn't have cable (like the OP), where would you get HGTV to begin with? AFAIK, they don't make their content freely available online.

Like olyteddy, I use a CableCard tuner as well, which cuts my cable bill in half, essentially. Definitely worth looking into if you want to save some money.

i am a cord cutter so i know this well. hulu has full episodes, more than hulu+, and they have episodes on their site for free. this is where playon comes in. it lets you view these episodes on their site or hulu on your tv. and like i said, HGTV's free iphone app has full episodes that let you airplay it to an apple tv hooked up to your television.

a boxee box will also scrape the HGTV site for full episodes but boxee is really not supporting or updating the box anymore.

or you can buy season passes from amazon or itunes for much cheaper than your monthly bill:

There are a number of full episodes for HGTV shows on their site. They won't have everything but it's a starting point.

"Bring out yer dead!".."Wait I'm not dead yet!"..(Sound Austrian here) "WRONG !!" (You know what happens next..)

Once a month or so I use the XBMC add-on Free Cable to view shows via HGTV's site. Some are HD... some aren't... none are of high quality but if you want a HGTV fix you can get one.
