Easy to say when your provider has Open Connect. Since most people have the top 4 ISPs that don't have Open Connect we have problems.

That's the point. If Cablevision can provide this level of service from Netflix, then why shouldn't TWC and Comcast? BTW, my Wife owns another house in which her brother resides, where we have a Comcast account. Our Cablevision bill is not only cheaper then our Comcast bill, but we get better services. In many areas, where they seem to have a monopoly, these ISP's do not always practice policies that are in the best interest of their customers. Don't shoot me, I'm just the messenger.

Your right and to think if I only lived a few miles south I can get Cablevision but where I live all I can get is TWC. Not even FiOS is available and they don't even support Open Connect.

I can say though that TWC is reliable. Last year it was terrible when they were screwing around with the cable lines in my area though but once they were done with there so called upgrades it has been fine.
