If you haven't seen the ad yet there is a new competitor to VUDU - Target. There must be money in 'them thar hills'!

The lure is 10 free UltraViolet titles once you join Target Ticket, link your UV account and enter your payment information.

https://www.targetticket.com/

FYI...

Caveat - the 10 free titles are a small predetermined selection and are in standard definition.

You must link your UV account and provide credit card information.

Meh. It's on no Blu-Ray players, and it's only coming to the XBOX 360. Not interested.

XBOX Live: Wagmman
PSN: Wagg
BFBC2: Wagman
Steam: Wag

My Second Life character looks and acts exactly like me except he can fly.

$6.99 for a new release rental? That's OK, I'd rather use Vudu.

Pacific Rim, World War Z, & Hangover 3,  says $3.99 for SD rental, $4.99 for HD. Those are Vudu prices, I believe.

Which movie did you look at that charged the $6?

Everybody and their brother is jumping into the fray. Streaming is the future of TV. But licensing will pretty much be the same across the board. If you want to save a buck or two rent a disc at the kiosk. I wonder how long it will take studios to realize they might actually make more money at the kiosk price when streaming?

I totally agree. The pricing structure I think is a carry-over from cable TV where HD movies typically run $5.99 plus tax for new releases.

Ghost Team One is $6.99. I also found titles at $5.99.
