Netflix now blocked using Hurricane Electric IPv6 Tunnel Broker?

Netflix blocks HE.net IPv6 tunnel. I had to reset my router and go back to IPv4 only using OpenDNS because Netflix refused to even load. Saying I am using a proxy or VPN.

All I get now is this if I use HE IPv6 tunnel.

No replies. Come on.
Found a bunch of links Googling so I am not alone but seems like it here. Tip on Googling search for past week or month otherwise you will get old irrelevant links.

Too think I only been using IPv6 HE.net tunnel for about 2 weeks. For me it started on June 2nd some had issues on June 1st but that was the day Netflix banned HE IPv6. Got tired of my ISP TWC Earthlink doing nothing for years saying it will be ready by 2014, 2015, 2016 still IPv6 Nothing so I would not have noticed if I never experimented with it.

I do not know what you are talking about.

Meaning, what is your set -up? What the heck is IPv6 HE.net anyway?

It just seems "fishy" too me. Probably not, so if it isn't, I apologize.

But, usually when I see things like this, it is usually someone trying to do something they shouldn't be doing.

They are using a VPN to cover up some sort of shenanigans. Like DOWNLOADING movies/tv shows they shouldn't be.

Is this the case? Just wondering. If it is on the up and up, again, I apologize.

Yes it is a problem and HE.net is legal not a scam.
Here is another link where I also posted having issues.

I'm wondering if HE IPv6 Tunnel could be used by someone in one country to appear to be in another country. If so, Netflix would probably classify them as a VPN or proxy server.

It is likely that Netflix is aggressive in blocking VPNs and proxy servers, not because of the Netflix objectives, but because the content owners that license content to Netflix have geographic (i.e., country) restrictions that must be respected.

Then why not turn off IPv6 for Netflix then. Netflix should not be using IPv6 at all if it thinks is you are using a VPN or proxy. I read Netflix is even blocking IPv6 from native ISP's. Netflix should just go to the IPv4 site.

The problem with IPv6 tunneling proxies is that they are proxies, many of which could be rerouting traffic from other countries.

That's not the case with native IPv6. As long as traffic from an ISP's IPv6 can all be located in the same country, there shouldn't be an issue with that ISP's customers using native IPv6.

Turned off IPv6 on my router. Tired of not being able to use Netflix on my mobile devices. I don't notice no speed issues either loading websites and streaming content. This is the only nuclear option since there is no simple solutions. Only solution is if you have a computer science degree in networking. Really. Tell me to add Psense whatever this and bind code script that but don't explain actually how to add it to the router is waste of time.

Just look at these pathetic help. Yea they got it work but for someone with limited networking knowledge good luck. That is like saying to a newbe install a car radio okay put it in the car hook it up and turn it on. Wait how do I actually hook it up, no help, I give up. Thanks for nothing?
