I've been thinking of starting a thread for 4K streaming in general. For example, Netflix has so many shows now that are 4K that it's really not feasible to put all of them in a gallery. And unless you have the 4K subscription (4 users) you don't get the listing and even then only if on a 4K device. I think they didn't want the users who don't have a 4K TV complaining they can't watch in 4K!

A lot of stuff is shot in 4K or better these days so there is actually a lot of 4K material. And I think some of the streaming services are secret testing out 4K when they probe and find a device and TV that supports 4K. Kinda like what some of us noticed with 1080p on Hulu before it was "official."

The inconsistency that I am finding with the What's on Netflix listing is that presently it shows a total of 122 titles.

However if you go to the Instantwatcher website and do a search for UltraHD (which I suppose corresponds to 4K) it lists 221 titles for Movies and Seasons.

http://instantwatcher.com/

Also the What's on Netflix listing is missing the new Netflix show - Ozark which seems strange, so I'm beginning to think it's far from complete.

Instantwatcher doesn't often have the 4K shows listed as UHD when first posted. It's like they're getting their info second hand.

"Atypica" a new comedy series is 4K and there is a Brazilian horror film "Diary of an Exorcist" that isn't very good that is 4K. I'm seeing more Spanish titles including ones from Mexico that are playing in 4K on Netflix. Hollywood seems tight fisted comparatively.
