Would be good to get a quick id on what's what in the pics. Some can be id-ed from the pictures but not all (3d conferencing, white elephant curved blend and some of the others).

Im guessing it was the commercial Sony. Glad to see someone at least acknowledge it.

I ck your account..yes you are fine. Your title was set to user, I have no idea where that came from but I turned it off. You can leave it off or go into your userCP and add what you like.

Thanks for the pics.

LifeSize Demonstrates True High Definition Video Communications and Telepresence at InfoComm Las Vegas
Attendees Can Also Experience Firsthand LifeSize Conference at InfoComm HD Conferencing and Telepresence Showcase
AUSTIN, Texas --(Business Wire)-- Jun. 18, 2008
LifeSize Communications, the global leader in high definition
video communications, will showcase its range of true HD video
communications solutions at InfoComm in Las Vegas June 18-20, 2008.
InfoComm attendees can also experience the LifeSize(R) Conference(TM)
telepresence suite, the first telepresence suite that can be tailored
to the needs of the customer environment. With live calls to the
company's headquarters in Austin, Texas, attendees can communicate
with the Austin team as if they were in the same room.

"LifeSize is proud to be a sponsor of the InfoComm HD Conferencing
& Telepresence Showcase, the perfect venue for people to come
experience our telepresence room in person," said Craig Malloy, CEO of
LifeSize. "LifeSize Conference creates the sensation of everyone being
together in a single room and delivers the richest possible
telepresence experience."

"In the three years since LifeSize introduced the world's first
high definition video system, we have led the industry by offering not
only the best quality of experience, but the greatest flexibility and
price performance of any video communications solution," said Malloy.
"Our goal is to make HD video communications accessible for everyone."

LifeSize provides a full range of true HD video communications
solutions, ranging from individual communications to telepresence.
LifeSize Conference telepresence suite provides organizations,
integrators and AV consultants the HD video infrastructure necessary
to create custom telepresence rooms. The system features multiple
displays, up to three HD cameras, and an integrated a wireless control
panel. It is priced at less than $40,000. By contrast, competing
systems from companies such as Hewlett-Packard and Cisco often cost in
excess of $200,000.

In addition to LifeSize Conference, attendees will also have the
opportunity to experience the full range of LifeSize products. In
booth C3287, customers can experience LifeSize(R) Express(TM) with
Focus, the world's most affordable high definition video
communications system; LifeSize(R) Team MP(TM), the world's only high
definition video communication system with embedded HD multipoint
capability available for less than $10,000; and LifeSize(R) Room(TM),
dual-monitor, dual-camera video communications ideal for the
conference room.

Once viewed as an expensive, complex technology only found in
large global enterprises, LifeSize HD video systems are designed to
enable broad deployment of video communications throughout any
organization. Starting at less than $5000, LifeSize's all-HD video
product portfolio ranges from simple point-to-point video
communications systems to highly-customized, multi-display, multi-HD
camera systems.

All LifeSize products provide stunning quality that delivers an
immersive, high definition experience over existing broadband
networks. LifeSize systems deliver high definition video at only 1
Mbps of bandwidth and DVD quality video at 512 kbps, allowing
companies to deploy video to many locations without altering their
current network or provisioning additional bandwidth.

"We encourage conference attendees to stop by our booth so they
can experience true HD video communications for themselves - nothing
can convey the power of high definition like an actual video call,"
said Malloy. "Once people experience the quality and authenticity,
they immediately see how this technology can improve business
processes, reduce travel and speed decision cycles. The possibilities
are endless once companies take the first step."

For those not attending InfoComm, LifeSize products can be seen at

Samsung Premium High-Definition Projector Available Nationwide for High-End Home Theater Market
New HD Projector Delivers Unrivaled Performance and Functionality with High-End Design and Premium Picture Quality for Home Theater Enthusiast
LAS VEGAS --(Business Wire)-- Jun. 18, 2008
Samsung Electronics America, Inc., a world-leading supplier of
professional LCD and PDP display products, today announced the
nationwide availability of the SP-A800B projector, a premium projector
that enhances the home theater experience by delivering film-like
picture quality in full high-definition 1080p. The SP-A800B will be on
display at the InfoComm Tradeshow 2008, in the Central Hall at Samsung
booth, C2417, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, June 18 - 20.

The high-end projector maximizes the home theater connoisseur's
full HD viewing experience by leveraging advanced optics and a Texas
Instruments 1080p DLP(R) chip to deliver a level of color and image
quality that is traditionally found in professional studio-grade
monitors. Setting the standard for consistently delivering the
industry's richest and most detailed picture, the A800B produces
premium color accuracy. In addition to its native resolution of 1920 x
1080, the SP-A800B boasts an impressive 95% aperture ratio and a fast
16 microsecond (0.016 millisecond) response time to further facilitate
accurate and natural motion graphics.

Furthermore, the HD projector features a native contrast ratio of
10,000:1, providing stunning blacks and conveying dynamic shadowing
details that result in high-definition film quality and stability.
Also delivering a film mode with a frame rate of 24 frames per second,
the A800B provides the same frame rate found in commercial movie
theaters.

To facilitate the highest quality home theater experience and
color reproduction, Samsung teamed up with Joe Kane Productions, a
worldwide authority on visual imaging equipment and development. The
result of this collaboration is a premium high-definition projector
that reproduces astonishing flesh tones and natural colors. The SP800B
allows users to freely select the color space for the three
broadcasting formats (SMPTE-C, HDTV, and EBU) to deliver accurate
projection regardless of format. In addition the projector has the
capability of matching the gamma response curve of ultra-expensive
studio video equipment.

"Basic technologies for HD projectors have drastically improved on
superior performance capabilities and enhanced design functionality
over the last several years. Samsung continues to maintain its
performance standards within the marketplace by delivering the A800B,"
said Christopher Franey, VP Marketing and Commercial Sales, Samsung
Electronics America, Information Technology Division. "The unique
design and functionality of this high-end projector separate this from
any in its class. By leveraging the experience of Joe Kane we deliver
the ultimate cinematic visual experience with our high-class fully
functional HD projector that displays clearer and crisper images."

The SP-A800B projector matches high-performance with high-design,
incorporated in this highly functional design is the low-noise cooling
system that supports and maintains quiet installations, making
installations and placement practical without hindering the unit's
functionality. The theater mode operates at just 25db enabling users
to focus on the finest details without compromising excellence.

Like all Samsung projectors, the SP-A800B projector is backed by a
two-year limited warranty on labor and parts as well as toll-free
technical support for the life of the display.

I was not at the show but I do not think it will make an appearance until Cedia this September. Infocomm is geared toward commercial applications where bright projectors dominate to meet the demand of larger screens or use in a lot of ambient light but I share your interest with LED projection. I looks very promising.

Alan, here info from Infocomm'08 dedicated to new LG LEDDLP projector (sorry not 500-1000 Lm )

Quote:

"In the back, dark room of the showcase were the pico/pocket projectors, which because of their design don't tolerate ambient light well. Most impressive to me by far were a pair of new LG HS102 projectors using PhatLight LED/DMD technology. They support SVGA resolution with a 2,000:1 contrast ratio and 150 ANSI lumens. I was told by an LG rep they'll ship next month and cost around $799. One of the models was running composite video, the other was running DivX-coded video off a USB stick plugged into the unit's new USB port. Neither was bigger than a stack of CD jewel cases, and both projected pretty impressive images on a 4:3, 60-inch Da-Lite screen with 1.5 gain (see below; again, apologies for the less-than-pro photography). The LG rep asked what I thought of a HS102 with a built-in TV tuner. As a consumer device, it makes a lot of sense. Apparently the company has one under development."

You can read also about Da-Lite's new 3D Virtual Black projection screen material.
