In 2010?
1 1.3 inch 4k dmd
There is talk about a smaller 1080p dmd so this number one should be possible.
AND
2 Lasers
Chineese researchers have built a powerful 3DLP laser projector that probably can be scaled up further in brightness. Sanyo has also recently told the world about their 7000 lumen 3DLP laser projector.
AND
3 DynamicBlack preoptimized in the DCinema file
Sim2 C3X1080 Lumis has really showed what DynamicBlack can do when implemented well.

Hmm, there are white light lasers...

Lasers are predicted to be cheaper than LEDs to illuminate LCD panels, if volume ramps up. But, this will not start before 2012, and probably is even a few years further away now, given green laser issues, investment cut-backs and stronger development in LED.

If Sony makes another big deal (like the one with AMC), I imagine that TI will be dragged into the 4K market - whether or not the visual difference is worth it. A 1.3 inch DMD is about right based on the size of the smaller 1080p DMD that's starting to show up.
