Hey - I recognise that one!

I am sure that you will not be dissapointed. Performance of the smaller models almost literally blew me away yesterday.

point taken taker, but I believe you are referring to the small stuff the large system comes very well recommended I briefly hear it in Denver 3 years ago.Cruise, Gibson,Damon and Clooney have it. The first guy gets 110 db at 35 feet away, average.

Mr. Hales has been designing great sounding speakers for decades. To be honest the digital amp is of some concern after listening to the 350k and 1m muffled sound fiasco in La with the piano brand surround system.

I herd it in Denver also I then herd it in Bellevue A Definitive Audio home theater experience a couple of years back .. I'm still not sold on Digital amps and speakers ..it seems that you are locked into a proprietary system no path to upgrade to another vendor without ripping out the whole system.... sorry for the late post I'm on the west coast in airplane country you know.

Look if the Jeff Rowland sounds good, and the B&O large speaker is quite an accomplishment and Mark Seaton's has such following, I had a bullet to bite, and this is the decision I had to make sacrificing the resolution of the Dynaudio and Krell over the proper playback of the Kraken scene and the new Tron. I cannot risk a system break appart like the famous G brand system did a month back, so i put in on paper I want 135 db's during that scene with hollo imaging still intact.

The importer of Dynaudio to India came to see the projector last January. He told me point blank that what you need for HT payback is not a high resolution system but something like this with lesser amps and horns. The cinepro proved that to me, the PRO is supposed to sound similar hopefully better being a larger company and all. They address the standing waves issues better than any other company with the size and positioning of 6 subwoofers.

The hushbox side panels are removable for minor maintenace items lamp related , convergence etc. For serious maintenance the whole hushbox comes down.

This is the upcoming design ideas.

Outer framing is sheet metal- inner wall studs and soffits are made out of LVL wood suspended with Kinetics spring devices (room within a room).

3 double tier Blu-ray plastic cover storage (aprox 550 discs), in and out ventilation for under platform racks.

Under platform racks used for connection of contact closures for independent back and footrest deployment control from crestron in addition the D-Box intensity controller gets connected to the kinelink hub therein, and also the chairs come with Built in Headphone amplifiers that work on a 7.1 audio system, this is the multichannel headphone distribution centre.

So I figured to stop lolly-gagging and start assembling the racks, god forbid the usual 5 steps forward and 2 back tempo ensues.

Turns out the datasat will not pass 3-D, solution the new Oppo Bdp-93 player has dual outputs.

The IP part of the surround processor is very well designed. Here checking for updates.

Crossover ( I am planning to use this 16 channel feature with the proaudio system amplifiers).

Look how cool how the sources are labelled.

The display is invaluable , not all Blu-rays labelled 7.1 have 8 channels active.

Running Man is 7.1

Sound of Music is 7.0

Evening Art,

The available maximum projection surface is 186 by 82.625 inches, or a 2.25 aspect ratio. Because of 4 way masking and servo zoom we can create any number of aspect ratios.

Thanks Art,

It certainly is an exciting project although I am pretty much married to it 24/7.

Here are some details about the projector dimensions, exhaust (very cool how they now include fan power on deck) and 4k lense.

The AP-20 which I love takes a spdif signal and plays it back in 2 channels or 2 channels times 2 front/back Like in a car.

The solution (DUH!) is use a reference dolby prologic 2 processor. Also with pretty lights!

DP564 Dolby Reference decoder for use with 2 Directv dvr's and Compact Discs. Feeds AP20 in 8 channel ebu.

Now we are up to 4 sources with aes ebu 8 channel. DCI Server, DCI Satellite (info to come), Modified Aes Out Oppo Player , and DP564 Ref Dolby Decoder.

I am going to need a high quality 25 pin aes 4 in -1 out rs-232 controllable switch.

The AP20 has to have the most amazing specs I have ever seen on asurround processor (IN DIGITAL), The dolby should too, this gets routed 16 channels out 24/192 and is recived by the prism ada-8 16 channel dac were it gets reclocked and spiffied.

I believe the Prism can do at the last minute an up-conversion to DSD and then converted to analog with very high resolution filters.

So no stone left unturned, except the aes 8 channel distribution may have to be custom.

I have not looked or done any research but you might want to check WHIRLWIND or RADIAL regarding an AES 4x1 switcher/splitter

Thanks Mike! I found The Matrix Switch Corporation they handle all of this stuff including 3d routing and aes3.

Thanks Reddig, glad you like it , it is a huge amount of work.

With the 3D AT ALL TIMEStm, I have decided to go for the full capacity of the 3 unit high Kaleidescape: 600 Blu-ray movies!

This is not a multi-room Kscape system, it is a single zone, the 6 M-300 players 4 region1 2 region 2 are strictly Vault controllers.

Let's face it you can't summon up a Kscape ON SCREEN DISPLAY and then have 6 movies on the system, full blown blu-ray the maximum capacity of the 3 U server is 600 BD's, the maximum storage capacity in the drawers is around 560 jewel boxes, so maybe we can come up with 550 Bd's of decent to great quality.

I Spoke to Deluxe about the Satellite Digital Cinema distribution, they explained the receiver is a data carrier that hooks up to the Doremi Storage Vault. No aes or hdsdi cables just cat 6. Cool!

There is so much crap in this rack that needs rs-232 or rs-485, that I had to up the crestron processor to the Pro unit which can have up to 9.

This pretty much finishes these 2 racks, the only thing pending is ventilation and decora cameo buttons on the center top two rack inserts. Closet light on off, system on 3D, system on 2D, and power off.

The buttons will be backlit, but I hope they can engrave them sideways.

There are a few things that have now gone under the platform, where we are installing a secondary chair recline and d-box control nerve center as well as the SMYTH Surround Headphone encoder feeding 10 Senheisser wireless headphones, for late night viewing with chair motion.

Thanks to Roger, Neil, Mike Miles I am going with ADA and a 12 channel balanced ANALOG xlr feed.

3 TEQ -12's no less!

Also I was never comfortable with the ice power deal (having spent so many thousands with the design and travelling to hear the Piano System fiasco) I rather eliminate the possibility of that gremlin rearing it's ugly head.

So I upped the dual power outlets up front from 60 amp 208 to 100 amp, and I upped the Torus Balanced Power units to 100 amp each., and I put in my absolute favorite sounding amps the sweet and snappy sound of Mosfets 400 watts @ 4.

1-TEQ-12

2 and 3 TEQ-12's.

We are still keeping the Ice Power Power Amplifiers for the 6 subs (for now ).

I mean I still love the AP-20 from Datasat, and certainly for my commercial special venues it is the piece to have, also in the Lab it is invaluable (look what I found out with the sound of music track), but when dolby prologic 2 x and the fancier surround processes are needed, the ADA Mach 4 seems to fit the bill... Rather Inexpensibly I may add.
