Hey everyone,

We finally got all the legal paperwork done, dotted the i's and crossed the t's and we are able to show you the full presentation given by Kodak about their new laser projector technology. The videos, along with all our other videos, are on our YouTube channel.

The overall presentation was about an hour so this is broken into 11 smaller segments, by subject.

Here is the full piece, with all 11 videos embedded for you: http://avscience.com/2010/12/kodak-l...-presentation/

Here are the two AV Science articles on this as well, for folks who may have missed them.

First, an overview of the day at Kodak:
http://avscience.com/2010/10/a-day-at-kodak/

Second, the technical specs of the projector:
http://avscience.com/2010/10/the-kod...pecifications/

If you want to get in-depth, check out the videos, almost a full hour of laser projection goodness.

It is great technology, no doubt. You may still be waiting a few years before you can get one in your home. As of now there are no talks for residential projectors, they are only in discussions with the commercial theaters. They are planning a residential roll-out, but that is a few more years to go.

I was talking to the head Schneider guy in the US and he did say that for laser projectors "due to the lack of prism" the laser lenses will be very similar to the CINELUX 35 mm lenses.
