I didn't see a digital connection out, on the back when I bought it yesterday.

Had there been one, the box would have been ineligible for the coupon program.

All digital TV uses "Dolby Digital" as its audio standard.

It's a good thing someone brought up this thread so I can warn people about Target's new STB7766C (as in "Cow") box now appearing in some stores. It comes in a box which looks almost identical to the STB7766G1 box, so unless you looked closely at the model number you probably think it's the same or a successor. But it's essentially an RCA DTA800B1, with its limit of only 2 aspect ratio options. RCA should have fixed this a long time ago. It appears this box is destined to be at the very bottom-of-the-barrel as the coupon program winds down.

So I guess based on that I was right to force Target to give me the open box G1 for a lower price based on the model number, cool.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me the reception they've gotten with a Venturer in the Baltimore, MD area?

I got 2 Zenith DTT901, which I am very happy with. The reception is clear and I haven't had any problems with them. I've tried the DTVPal, which are really bad in my opinion! Venturer seems to get good reviews! I'd just like to make sure that there is good reception in Baltimore!
