Does anybody have the manual containing the program codes for the DTA800B box. It seems it can't be found anywhere on the internet. I'm looking for the codes for a Sanyo and RCA tv.

Isn't there a place where one can just download a new manual?

It can't be that large.

Press PGM on the remote control. Enter the 3-digit code. Press OK. Test to see if it works. If not, try the next code.

The codes aren't in the manual -- they are on a separate single sheet which, judging from this thread, apparently gets lost easily.

Thanks for the post! I didn't realize that RCA would have like 30 codes.

Depends on the remote - you'd have to look in it's printed code listings, which would either be in it's manual, or on a separate piece of paper that came with it. If it's not listed under RCA, GE, Proscan or whatever, you could try the code search feature, which will also be explained in the remote's manual.

Now, if you don't still have the remote's manual, then shame on you.

Maybe you can find it and download it online.

DTV converter boxes are too new to be included in URC manuals or lists.

I could try guessing at some of the other RCA codes, or possibly doing the code search, but if somebody here already has them.........

Not totally true - the Channel Master (Pioneer cable box code) and the DTVPal (Scientific Atlanta cable box code) can be found in most remotes, and the Zenith and RCA (satellite box codes) can be found in some newer ones.

You can get learning remotes for less than $15.00 these days, too.

I can control the DTA800B1 with the remote that came with my Panasonic TV with DBS code 106. Someone on another thread said that code 808 worked with a Sony remote.
