Ok from my unders standing the 950 is an update to the 970. I have an insignia with pass thru. is that the same as the Zenith? I have one coupon left and need to use it now. A store in town has 3 zenith left. but I do like the timer idea. have these been compared before? and am I correct that the insignia (2nd gen) and zenith are the same? if not whats the difference. is the digial stream 7700 worth anything in comparison also.

My ZAT-970A isn't as capable receiving stations as my Insignia -APT (Zenith 901 clone). My APEX DT502 is better receiving stations (and has a better EPG and includes reminder capabilties) over my Insignia -APT (Zenith 901 clone).
