Would you be able to confirm what subtitles are on the TDK you watched?

I'll check which languages are available as subtitles when I rewatch it again, tomorrow night...if that's what you're asking.

Still looking for a movie theatre that shows movies the way they're SUPPOSED to be viewed...

I hate how they change actors to play the one actor. luckily in this film Rachel was boring it did not matter too much. But if they changed Christian Bale it would of ruined it.

OK, the only subtitles I saw in the settings were English, French, and Spanish.

Rats. Guess I'll have to settle for something out of the country.

Does this title sport the D-Box codes? , I actually saw another movie the other night that had them, if ever a movie deserved D-Box, this is it!

Im sort of suprised at the comments that Heath Ledgers performance wasnt the finest in this movie, maybe most movies. The only Villian/Bad Guy that I found even close was the movie with the Oil Man back around the turn of the century, and Hans Gruber in the Original Die Hard. I knew nothing of Ledgers death strangely enough until after viewing this summer and I must say I was utterly hypnotized by his performance. "Why so Serious?" and that Maniacal laugh stayed with me the rest of the day, I went back for a second viewing with my daughter (18) the next day and was blown away yet again. Keeping my fingers crossed for Ledger at the Oscars!

Just picked up my copy from BB. I saved $2 by pre-ordering.
Have only watched a few scenes, but the picture is outstanding.
I just got my Panny bd-35 last week and this is the 1st blu-ray disc I've played.
As the review said The IMAX scenes were integrated into the movies with a different aspect ratio. They move back and forth between the 2.40:1 to 1.78:1 seamlessly.

get the ps3 + Dark Knight + Resistance 2 Collector's Edition for only $399 on amazon right now.

Awesome movie, I bought an original DS TDK poster the other day thinking it may be a decent investment down the road.

I lived in Chicago when they were filming. I remember the news stories. The Police parade was on LaSalle Street in the business district downtown. Christian Bale also stood on the Sears Tower in costume without any safety devices.
I just watched a special feature, Batman Tech. Very interesting and 45 minutes long.

Agreed The integration was better then I hoped for. PQ is great, AQ is terrific, although the lfe has made me notice a couple new rattles in my HT.

This video presentation incorporates two different aspect ratios. When I saw it theatrically its AR was 2.40:1 however some of the film was shot using IMAX cameras which results in a 1.78:1 AR. Both have been integrated here with some scenes/sequences having one AR and the next the other.

Sweet, I only saw this at an IMAX (twice) and was really hoping they'd do the same thing for the home release. Good review, thanks!

I thought the LFE should be given a 5. I think it was better LFE than KFP which got a 5 and better than Caspian which also got a 5.

PQ was outstanding and audio pleased every bit of the way too! Great Subwoofer movie!

I thought this was a reference disc for video and sound. The subwoofer was howling in the last 3rd of the movie and the PQ was as good as I have seen. I saw Narnia last night, which I know has gotten great reviews for video quality and I thought this was every bit as good.

Just got done watching it.

I can't really comment on EE as I have a 46" set and really not as prone to it as others may be unless it's really obvious. What I can say is that I don't remember the picture in the theater being as dark as it appeared on the BD. Then again, maybe my eyes are turning tricks on me? One thing that you cannot say about this transfer is that you saw softness in the picture. I saw no evidence of that and in fact this may be the sharpest Warner title i've ever seen on BD.

Audio track was killer, yet not without regret. I am not one of those who will complain about a lack of surround. So far as I could tell the surround ambience went with what was on the screen. Score mix was excellent, really gave it dynamics. My regret is that as nice as it sounds, it could have sounded nicer with a 24bit track instead of it being down-rezzed. Now before anyone goes off saying you can't notice the difference, having been into Hi-rez audio like DVD-A. I could always tell a qualitative difference between a 16 bith and 24 bit stereo mix. The 24 bit was always better! Same applies here, there could have been more extension to be heard had they left the mix at 24 bit.I really hoped Warner's would change their policy for this release, sad to say they still don't get it!!

Loved the movie!!
