Wow you're so cool. All I said was I purchased and watched, found it to be to mature for my 2 yr old and decided to sell. Still a fantastic movie. Sorry to belly ache to the world about my problem.

Greetings,

Glad you enjoyed the presentation Jeff..

Greetings,

I have seen your posts and get that. Expectations of where there should be deep bass versus a "lack" there of can lead to the type of mixed reactions some are complaining of.

As I said earlier, sorry to hear that.

Ralph,
Again, thank you for a "bullseye" review... The story and writing were as great as I remember it from the theater. As I predicted...I personally favor a supreme bluray ...bright, detailed, textured with depth over a 3d (at this point) any day.... The video had ooodles of all of the above. PIXAR so far can do no wrong!!!!!

The Incredibles should be....incredible!

Love for all things Hi-def...Losing count; 200 plus bluray, 500 plus dvd, 30 plus HDdvd and a rapidly growing 50 plus in the cloud.

Finally got around to watching the BluRay last night. It was pretty breathtaking. Can't think of anything negative about that picture.

Also, I totally didn't cry....not at all....

Watched it last night: 5 adults and 3 grandkids, aged 5 to 9. Ralph, your review and ratings were spot on. Another home run for Pixar. Looked superb, sounded superb, highly entertaining, and some amusing new characters. The scene where Woody and the gang faced impending fiery doom had two of the kids scared enough to seek adult reassurance (but, riveted, they kept on watching), and yes, the emotional ending brought a tear or two to each adult's eyes. Plenty of humor for everyone, some good inside humor for the adults, and demo quality to boot.

OK, so, last night, my wife and three boys watched this in the living room and I was in my media room WORKING. It's a huge project that has a tight deadline. AND it's my only source of income. There is nothing I'd love more than to sit and watch this with them.

Anyway, it seems like everybody around here is getting choked up at the scene where

Andy gives the toys away. I actually got choked up just hearing the part where Andy and his Mom are in his room for the last time and Andy is about to leave for college.
It made me realize that, although my boys are only 5, 3 & 3 (twins), they will be out of the house sooner than I know. It made me realize what is REALLY more important in life. Spending time with my wife and kids. I'll NEVER be able to get that time back.

I think when I get old and close to dying, I won't look back and say, "I wish I would have worked harder." or "I wish I would have watched more movies or played more games." I think what I'll really be saying is, "I wish I had more time to spend with my family."

I've seen the movie a few times, so i don't mind, but I'm sure there are people here who would appreciate the use of Spoiler tags

Anyone have any issues paying this BD on your PS3? I rented it from Netflix and had to insert the disc and remove it several times before the PS3 was able to load it and show me the icon in the XMB.

PS3 HDMI'ed to a 7.1 receiver. Tested with both Bitstream and LPCM. Chose 7.1 in setup.

In Maximize Your Home Theater, when testing the 7.1 speakers, the sound is not working properly. Depending on Bitstream or LPCM, either the subwoofer is not working, or the right front and the right surround (and left front and left surround) are outputting at the same time.

My back speakers don't even show up in the receiver's display.

I have, of course, tested with several other movies, and the subwoofer really does work and the back speakers really do put out.

Can anyone else attest that Maximize Your Home Theater does not work properly?

Can anyone explain why my set up does not properly handle the 7.1 from TS3? It works fine with lots of other 7.1 movies.

My wife and I enjoyed this Blu Ray disk yesterday evening. It was really great and the surround channels were used very effectively to portray the scenes as well as the action in the movie. I thought the picture was very nice too.
