should be. Outside of the soundtracks, and not being in 1080p, you already had the same disc.

Shame....where is a 4k version, with an extended cut of all the flying.....into the danger zone

best move for Universal-Stop transferring, mastering.If not for the sake of the films, do it for our planet.-Harris;

Thanks for the review Ralph.

Though I didn't need to read it to know I had to buy that one. 25 years...damn! I was 14 I saw it 3 times theatrically back then, and countless times on video. I still can't buy F-5s as imaginary MIGs but well, they're part of the charm I guess. Besides I've never been able to dislike Tom Cruise!

Really? Where did he say what player he has? Because the HD DVD IS authored in 1080p AND HD DVD players also DISPLAY 1080p on 1080p televisions.

Top Gun...dogfight over the Indian Ocean on bluray and dtshd master; it may not be the best but it's still my all-time favorite hometheater demo scene...Maverick, Ice...this is just great stuff!!!

Thanks for the great review of an alltime fave and the first true genuine worthy demo movie!!!!

Love for all things Hi-def...Losing count; 200 plus bluray, 500 plus dvd, 30 plus HDdvd and a rapidly growing 50 plus in the cloud.
