Damn TrueHD tracks and my cheapo LG player mad.gif ! Didn't finish watching it, as I got interrupted from viewing most of the rest, I'll post back later...

Are you looking at upgrading your player? Nothing worst than audio dropouts

LOL Actually yes, been looking at the Panny BDT500 which looks cool enough (OPPOs are just too difficult--not to mention expensive--to get in Mexico). Funny thing is, the 2D BD plays just fine! Also, the dropouts in the 3D BD stop after the first 2 minutes (Remember I said 10 or 12 in 5 mins or so? Actually I counted 15 of them before the 2 minute mark when I checked again last night!!!) Very annoying! Good thing is, I can enjoy it after those dreadful 2 minutes...

BTW, I thought it was DD TrueHD, but it's DTS HD-MA. Gots to get me a better player indeed! Cheers, mate! cool.gif

Greetings,

TT, try setting the player to internally decode the DTS-HD MA audio (by setting it to output LPCM rather than bitstream) and see if that solves the audio dropout problem with this title.

Ah, a la Total Recall, eh? Guess I'll have to try that. Thx Ralph! smile.gif

BTW, did anyone ever trade in that Total Recall BD for one with no dropout probs???
