^^ Hilarious... and true!!^^

There are more than a handful of [op amps] that sound so good that most designers want to be using them as opposed to discreet transistors. Dave Reich, Theta 2009

And for those of us who dislike handheld camera work: Rent before you buy! 60 to 70% of this was done with handheld cameras. Most of the action is shaky cam and cut so rapidly that you really can not follow what is going on. If this style does not bother you then please ignore this post.

Thanks so much. I think I will print this out and keep handy for her future films so I can figure out the moods. They should insert one of these charts in all her videos. rolleyes.gif

Just saw this movie last night and I can't agreed more on all the comments regarding Kristen Stewart's poor acting. This Snow White is the farthest from being the most Fairest. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
I thought the dead and aged Ravenna was still much fairer.

I enjoyed this movie quite a bit, despite the appalling Ms. Stewart. Watching it at home last night with my GF, we both loved certain aspects of the film, and Stewart's D- acting couldn't derail the whole experience. I did on several occasions utter, "I wish she would just shut her mouth." Even when she wasn't speaking, she had that ugly, slack-jawed, open-lipped thing going on. "Please, just shut your mouth!"

Charlize Theron was terrific: frightening yet pitiable. Sam Spruell was very effective. Set design was amazing. Exterior shots were generally very pleasing and often imaginative. Hemsworth was capable, as was Sam Claflin. The special effects were pretty well done. The dwarves were memorable. Most of the featured characters were believable--except of course for Snow White.

Excluding the possibility of a simple loss of objectivity due to the affair going on, perhaps the casting was intentional to make the Snow White character less noble and appealing in order to increase appreciation or at least sympathy for the Queen. I was far more engaged with the Queen than the Princess. Despite Snow White's victimization and innocence, she was a dull, unattractive, petulant, and weird character. Her body language (facial expressions, posture, movement) was awkward and unappealing. Her speech was disjointed, stumbling, and unconvincing. Her emotions were jumbled, her decisions were slow and obtuse, and her leadership was dubious. All this made for a very unappealing character, which drove me to appreciate the Queen more and to feel the match between the drunken and damaged Huntsman and the catatonic and damaged Snow White was much better than the romantic notion of Snow White and Prince Charming (William). That dude got lucky that he wasn't her True Love, eh?

Or, they just screwed up by hiring Stewart. tongue.gif

What I can afford, when I can afford it...

The 'Rental Version' of this blu-ray disc is awful. If you don't allow bd-live, you get 9 trailers before you can get to the menu. Even skipping, it takes a ridiculous amount of time. I had to disable bd-live on my ps3 in order to get to the menu, because if you skip the streaming trailers, for some reason, the disc locks up and you have to start over. I guess Universal is doing these disks now too.

Even better we paused the movie, and the universal screen saver image came up.

But it appears that Universal has disabled the 'play' function from the screensaver. So I can't un-pause the movie without going through 9 trailer hell. No thanks. Taking this piece of crap back.

Greetings,

The way to resume playback from the Universal Screensaver is to press 'Enter" not 'Play.
