And yes, I was able to change over to LPCM just for this movie, but that's a pain that I'm not willing to live with, so I sent the movie back. The worst part is I forgot to re-select extended cut when I came back to the movie after changing my settings, so that's why I never got to see that version. frown.gif

Wow, I've seen it all. You do realize it took you a whole lot more time and energy to return the disc than to push the audio selection button at the beginning of the movie. cool.gif

I always manually verify and select the audio track at the beginning of each film. It takes a whopping 10 seconds and I can enjoy the movie knowing I'm listening to the best audio track available.

All I can say is wow, here's the bs answer, but even more disturbing is they are sending me a full sealed copy so I can get a refund because I refuse to watch the movie in PCM 2.0 (Aka. Stereo).

I'll never buy a sony pictures product or a sony product ever again...

This Audio issue only occurs if the Blu-ray player is hooked up to an audio receiver or a home theater system. If the Blu-ray player is connected directly to the TV or the Blu-ray player, there should be no issue. SPHE is working with manufacturers on a possible firmware upgrade solution, but the issue can be resolved through a simple fix by changing the settings as outlined below.

PS3 Slim
From PS3 crossbar, go to:
1. Settings
2. Video Settings
3. BD/DVD Audio Output Format (HDMI)
4. Change to Linear PCM
