Loved this movie. One of my favorites this year. Love Zimmer's score also. Can't wait to get this on blu.

It seems there is no middle ground with this movie. Most either loved it or hated it biggrin.gif

I might as well not bother watching Zack Snyder films altogether because he hasn't changed his style of filmmaking since the beginning... and I reaaaaaaaally don't like that style at all. It's permeated way too many Hollywood movies. Note to self: scratch Zack Snyder directed films off the list.

Listen up, studios! Just say "NO" to DNR and EE!!

Loved this film. Looked and sounded great in the theater (Imax). However, the 3D didn't pop at all. Maybe it was just me.

The answer regarding Lois Lane is simple - Amy Adams is hot. Quite hot.

One of the most polarizing movies as far as reviews go I have ever seen.

I for one loved the movie but guess that the truth to the film is probably somewhere in the middle of all these reviews.

I do wish that the movie had been longer and told in a chronological order instead of flashbacks. There seemed to be more of Clark's story to be told.

But ultimately this version of Superman is about a young man finding his place and trying to fit in in this world.

His character should not be immediately loved by humans. I would expect that to be a continuing theme in the series as he needs to earn the trust of the world.

Having Zod in this first film makes that difficult due to the destruction caused. That should change as his character is developed further.

I won't resist this when it comes out on BD. I appreciate your insight thanks.

Superman is boring. It's either Lex Luther or Zod and his cronies. Why not other nemesis?

That may be so, but Lois was sorely underutilized in this take on Superman.

Good. Cuz other than stalling from getting stepped on like ant vs all those kryptonians in a power trip. What could she had done? I loved that her involvement was kept to a minimum when dealing with forces that are way out of her league.

^ My impressions as well, Xphoenix23! Same with Hobbit Extended 3D, right? You know, out the 3 Hobbit Extended versions, Br3D, BD, DVD, I thought the DVD looked best, BD 2nd, and Br3D 3rd! Go figure! On the other hand, Star Trek 2 3D looks best 3D... I'm still a sucker for 3D, so I'll just have to stuff it, I guess! rolleyes.gif

Hallo Lee & Ralph,

Any idea on when a copy for review will be available for you guys?  Hopefully sooner rather than later.  At least it releases for purchase around the same time Thor: The Dark World releases (in theaters), which is cool too. ;)

Regards,

Been looking forward to this one. In the theater all I remember is the entire second half of the movie was loud as all hell, so I think just audio wise if they do this one right it could be demo worthy stuff and one of the new top Blu Rays for sound. We shall see.

Over here the theatre I saw it at the audio was horrible. The LFE overpowered everything there was no balance

Theater I saw it at the picture was just so grey and dark, and really too loud.

Here's hoping for the best.
