I won't be buying it (if I end up liking the movie) if there is no Atmos track.

Listen up, studios! Just say "NO" to DNR and EE!!

Regards,
Slightly off topic. Do you ever get movies while still in theaters for review? Either way, is there a process to it?

Greetings,

I don't get them to review while still in theaters, only when they are being released on home video. Most reviewers that review them theatrically do so but in in the theater not at home. I am not certain what you mean by the last part of your question relative to the "process".

+1

I totally agree.
It ties Transformers: Age of Extinction for the title of "Worst Movie of 2014."

I actually prefer 1998's campy Godzilla over this piece of crap.

I'm ok with this movie (huge Godzilla fan), i get all the criticism but there's still a number of scenes that will be great for demo material. something to hold us over until Pacific Rim 2 comes out.

It had a few good scenes. However, I think that Pacific Rim did a better job of making "giants" in battle interesting. I was hoping that it would be better.

More Godzilla would have been better. It was annoying when they would cut away from a battle scene to show something that you couldn't care less about.

That I didn't know; real bummer, Dolby Atmos or not. ...And 3D for that matter.

I couldn't remember. Blame Google.

I think it's a minus to know the difference between two of Godzilla's sons. Pray that we don't see either in the next film.

Oh it's worse than that: I know that one of them has never been referred to as Godzilla's son, and the one that has is actually adopted. But, at least I don't post misinformation and then dodge responsibility by blaming a search engine.

Aw, c'mon. It's a horrible movie, and those movies with Godzilla's kids are worse.

Interesting...

In the 1954 Godzilla, Godzilla only had about 15 minutes of screen time.

pacific rim, king kong, jaws, alien, cloverfield, super 8, and jurassic park waited longer. All of those movies had a script to carry them. It was mainly the script that made godzilla boring.

I also am pretty sure dinosaurs were first seen about 30 minutes into jurassic park. The t-rex scene may have been 1 hour into the movie if that is what they mean by "monster".

I think you are missing the point, sir. We WANT Godzilla! We simply hated all the characters not played by Brian Cranston. The kid from Kickass was simply horrible, and he was the main character in the movie.
From the point where Ken Watanabe (admittedly not bad, just underused) says "let them fight" though, the movie was pretty awesome!
