I'm glad to hear from another poster that the MI 4 BD's soundtrack is demonstration class. I saw the film in the theater and really enjoyed it. Despite my conviction that Tom Cruise's acting chops are mediocre at best, I may buy all four MI BDs because they are very reasonably priced at Amazon these days.

HT setup: Sony 75XBR X940D UHD HDR TV; Kaleidescape Movie Server 6 TB; Yamaha RX-A3060 AV receiver; Crestron Control System; Hsu VTF-3 MK3 Turbo subwoofer, 6 Hsu Bookshelf speakers 1 Hsu HC-1 Center speaker 4 Focal in-ceiling Atmos speakers; Oppo BDP-103 BD player; Mac Mini HTPC. Regards,
Ralph -- I am seriously considering buying these discs, despite their star having been the underwhelming, to me at least, Tom Cruise.smile.gif I should add that the high marks you gave the MI 4 disc's audio tracks tempts me more than ever.

Greetings,

gwsat, seriously if Tom Cruise isn't to your liking these films, despite their A/V quality, might not be worth a buy. Give MI4 a rent first. If it works for you then you're good to go..smile.gif

Regards,
I saw MI 4 in the theater and really liked it. Cruise, although not much of an actor in my estimation, has shown remarkably good judgment in the projects he chooses to join and his performances ordinarily don't spoil anything. I've seen the first three films too. Thought MI 1 was pretty good, MI 2 awful, and MI 3 somewhere in between 1 and 2. I thought MI 4 was the best yet;
