Any Arnie movie that fails at the box office does well at home. This isn't the first arnie movie that didn't recoup its budget and was lambasted by critics. Remember Commando? His most famous one, other than Batman and Robin, is Last action hero, released 20 years ago last month. It was the first movie to be remixed in 7.1 SDDS (5 front 2 surround 1 sub) as well as 5.1 for smaller theaters (a 4.1 dolby stereo mix was also made). In a book about the guys who ran Sony, one critic said (Sony Dynamic Digital Sh***Ty sound). It was also the first major release from Sony to feature the CGI Columbia Statue in daytime.

Last Action Hero has aged really well. I watched it not long ago and was impressed. Also, Megadeth on the soundtrack. One of their best songs.
