Check out BIG's incredible prediction from this post way back in February 2009 - almost six years to the day that Logan finally finished!

I try to run a perfectly serious discussion thread about home theater building and look where it's gone.. right into the toilet. All it takes is two big, fat doodie heads to ruin it for everybody.

I'm appalled. APPALLED, I tell you.

I think the serious discussion can be found over in the Dimension X side of the thread...this one is a free-for-all.

So says Great Big Fat Doodie Head Number One.

I get to decide what goes on in Dimension X. And what happens in Dimension X STAYS in Dimension X. Once you check in, you CAN'T check out.

Logan has been...... well, peace out! ever since he won HTOM.
Maybe, he fell into the Dimension X never to return?
Or maybe, he is conspiring a new thread against us all "got motivation? not from me, figure it out on your own.... I am done and you did it all wrong!"

Fear not RT, for I am always here. Always watching.

Yes, Bud, I am done. Once was enough for me.

Pretty well caught up on movie watching from Netflix. Still loving the theater. There's really nothing else I think I could have done any better without MAJOR changes. HOWEVER, there are some things I SHOULD have done while the walls were open, though not directly related to the theater build.

1) I should have had the HVAC for the rest of the house zoned while the main trunk was open.
2) I should have had the fireplace above the theater converted to gas while the ceiling was open, The gas line enters the house from the opposite side of the fireplace and would now require tearing a hole in the ceiling. And, no, there is not a direct path through the now-covered main trunk soffit.

So, since this thread has be SOOOoooo picture heavy, I've started work on my next project. A few just laying out the town...

[IMG][/IMG]

MAYBE, if you zoom in enough, you can see what's playing. This theater IS, after all, on the "other side of the tracks."

I like Jags...

Haha......Now to have the train travel through the theater! I hear that for the time that movie was top notch! Now considering all that is available via the interwebs is it now quite tame.

Cool,
Welcome back, even if only for a short time. I do and completely understand that, you are done with the build. But still, it is fun to see you come back and post every so often

Wow, those are some really old-school looking tracks, very cool. They remind me of my grandpas trains I played with as a kid, and I am not trying to say you are old or anything, just saying and as I am sure you are aware, this hobby has a tendency to occupy more and more of ones living space over time. Yes, I have a friend that has got the Mister Rogers train thing going on through the whole house LOL. Even the kitchen. Do not be that guy.

When I was living in Tampa, Starship opened a concert for Whitney Houston and played that song. So for your listening pleasure the second hit song from that night.

What I want to know is what is the over/under on the number of floods the city encounters before it's finished.

1. The over/under is 1. One flood and I'm done.

The money you lost on an abandoned project is called "sunk costs" for a reason.
