Thanks.

Again, lovely setup.

it's not so much about the gear,... sharing the enthusiasm of building a theatre w/ a whole family, and having a place where everyone can come together and unwind...that's priceless

Great posters... except.... Did you actually see District 9? I was all excited and bought the b-ray without knowing anything about it only to find it to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

You have some unusual ones and a nice mix but District 9??? Ouch.

Man, that took longer than I thought it would...

I loved that movie, plus I really like the look of the poster. The posters in the theater room are a little more adult, most of the ones outside the theater are ones my 5 year old son likes.

Yea, I felt the same way, but I can say THANK YOU NETFLIX (since I didn't buy the movie)!

I have been on a tear buying BluRays on Ebay. Picked up the Godfather (restored) trio, Band of Brothers, and the Matrix Trilogy. Watched Kung Fu Panda with the kids, and episode 2 of BoB. Man, I love my setup!

Gotta get me some of those poster frames for the hallways. Your's look really sweet!

I haven't been on for a while so I just saw your posters. Nice job. Very impressive with the thick frames and lighting. Any room left for Iron Man 2?

Clearly, I'm a man of action - just give me a few minutes to think about it.

Nice build, I like the color scheme.

This part way back in the thread sounded awfully familiar:

Thanks for the compliment. Things have settled down now, I haven't purchased anything for the theater in quite a while. Maybe I can sneak something in soon

I'm both excited and sad to say that we're moving to Colorado which means we're going to sell our house and theater. We've had many good times and lots of fun in the theater and I'll miss it a lot. Hopefully, I'll be able to build a new one in Colorado once we find a house. I'm not sure if I'll document the process again or not, but I had fun building it the first time around and I thank everyone for their support and help when I was building it.

On a good note, Star Wars came out on BD before I had to move so my son got to finally see the movies

Quick question. Are you happy with the ERD-1's? You did exactly what I am planning - using them for the side and rear channels. Just wanted to see if you would choose something different if you had the chance.

Thanks,

Brian

I'm definitely happy with the ERD-1s. I don't ask a ton out of my side/surround speakers, but they do the trick and were easy to install. I wish I could take them with me, but I'm leaving the theater intact for sale.

Guam,

I really enjoyed your build and the personal privalege of visiting your actual theater. If you decide to build again, I hope you also decide to document the experience. The Maple Street thread was very entertaining and helpful. Thanks.

Best of luck in Colorado.
