OMG. I just saw this post. LOL. Nice. Nope. haven't ordered the gom yet. I"m about to drop $2k on my front yard, so that's gotta be my weekend daylight project, and building my columns during the night, and somewhere taking care of the house and my kid. lol.

Oh, and keep myself from getting loganized.

Has it been long enough yet?! Those boxes turned out great. How are things going?

Thanks for the reminder. I haven't visited here in a while. I have gotten the columns up in the room, but that's really about it. My son is teething heavily these last few days so he's pretty uncomfortable. I'm also still out of work at the moment so any more progress has been put on hold.

I'll make sure to set aside some time to get further into the construction and post up more pictures of it. Sorry it's been so long... My theater just hasn't been a top priority as of late.

Man - you can't just bump your own build thread without some building being done.

I like to watch video and listen to audio.

haha. I've been busy with several things and I wanted to bump it while I was thinking of it. I have all the trim work done except touching up some of the corners and some of the wall stuff.

I have the front wall covered with 4" of OC703 now, have all of my acoustical panels built with the exception of the wood frames that go around the 4 early reflection ones on the side walls.

And today I just finished building the screen. I'm planning to hang the screen later this week, get the panel frames built within the next week, and then go back to do the touch up work.

At that point, all I'll have left in the room itself is calibrating everything, programming all the equipment, building a bar and getting the bar stools.

Resurrecting this thread. Need to do some people justice and get some pictures posted and updates done. The room isn't completed yet, but it is quite nice and usable. Even had a discussion with the makers of green glue and might be discussing a possible write up with my personal HT.

Things to do:
Improve the remote control
Complete the HT equipment rack
Build the bar
Get the bar stools
Calibrate the audio
Calibrate the video

I've been busy with a new born running around the house, and I have my second due in early December. So these things have slowed down my work pace significantly, along with a new employer. I finally got lights installed in my wife's craft room so it's really usable now.

I'll give a more complete update later this week.
