Hello Peter. By now i imagine you are ensconced in the Aussie countryside. How's everything going? Hope your change has been great for you and the family.

Hi mate, good to hear from you!

I was about a week away from posting a bit of an update actually.....you spoil all my fun

Say hello to the Downunder Theatre MKIII

and this:

....sadly the house with the theater is on hold indefinitely. But that's cool.....slightly different priorities right now, like getting the place productive/income producing....harder than it sounds and is requiring quite an investment (per above), all part of it

Lisa is off learning about free range pigs this weekend and we should have 30 odd chooks soon (if I have my way we'll have 500-1000 by the end of the year (all free ranging)

Life is great otherwise, we're really happy with the move. No regrets.....and that is despite the fact that we're still camping....yes week 15 now.....about 2-3 weeks from having a solid structure over our head. Look me up on facebook if you like, we've been doing video diaries to keep family and friends abreast of what is going on.....its been quite an experience.

Otherwise, we're a few weeks away from officially launching the facebook page for the farm - https://www.facebook.com/Kapsalifarm/?fref=ts

@Peter M - sorry we never had you round before we sold...life got manic before we moved

Hi Peter,

I've been meaning to fire up this old thread but Greg beat me to it !

Glad to hear all is going well. No worries on the missed visit as the start of the year was manic for me as well.

So are you putting 5.1 or 7.1 in the cab of the excavator ??!!

Cheers,

I was thinking full ATMOS as it is pre-wired for ceiling speakers already. Takes plenty of work out of it

LOL. Thanks for the bump.

I was going to start a MKIII thread on new years day, but was too busy....building....if all goes to plan it'll be a decent open plan room done later this year.

If you look hard enough you'll see a hdmi cable in readiness for a projector.

That temp kitchen will go once we've finished the propper one

Hi Peter,

Happy new year !

What was this space originally ? Or is it an extension you've built ?

How about some detailed plans to keep us all satisfied ?

Cheers,

Happy new year to you to Peter!

What do you mean originally? this is going to be our home/house or what one of our new friends affectionately refers to it as, the "shouse".

Long story short, we've decided to invest our money into other areas of the farm and as such we're going to be living in this for a rather long time.

This is the only relatively current shot I have of it:

I might do some Big style scribbles once we know the final room dimensions. The partitions are going to be done out of 830mm pallet racking (I know that sounds ****, but trust me, we'll make it look nice). Which coincidentally is going to make for a rather useful space behind an AT screen.

Hi Peter,

It is/was a blank canvas. So we're starting from scratch! We dont have many photos, mostly video (still working on branding/youtube channel). But here is the nicest bit where one day we'll build a house.

Cheers,
Peter
