It's alive, alive I say! Looks fantastic, and a finished space will help a lot in the sale of your place vs. a semi completed one. We all know that a theater is never ever completed, but the new home owner need not know that. Good to see you back here and good luck with the new job.

Regards,

Hellooo....from the world of tomorrow....

Man...blast from the past. Stumbled upon my old thread here....very nostalgic.

Its amazing the difference 5 years can make.

New job, more kids, my theater is currently a toy room!!! Family is looking at moving closer to my work. Hopefully that means a dedicated theater room, will definitely be looking for a house with a basement!

My first thought when I received the email update was WOW, I remember that AVS Thread.

Its amazing how kids change things. Have 2 of my own these days and no dedicated space anymore

Glad I'm not the only one!

Right now my commute is about 50 minutes (33 miles), We're actually going to look at a couple houses tomorrow much closer to work. "Dedicated theater space" is definitely on my short list of wants.

Glad to see that a dedicated room might be in your future. It's all about priorities (which change greatly as you have children and they progress through the ages). Next year Mrs RTROSE and I will be empty nesters with my youngest going off to college (hopefully). Five years out for me will hopefully mean lot more disposable income for HT stuff, travel, and whatever Mrs RTROSE wants. How's the house hunting going BTW?

Regards,

RTROSE
