So now that I've got my room within a room built I'm running the elctric and cables. I noticed that if the romex is to tight I get a noticable amount of flanking. When I tap on the inner framming it vibrates the outer framming. This effect is reduced if I create a longer runner with more slack in the romex.

My question is: what is the recommended way to run the romex and any additional cables through the wall to minimize flanking?

Old thread so this might be a long shot.

I'm in the same boat. What did you end up doing?
