3. On the "Blu-ray" tab, under "options", set the "First MPLS file" to 64 and the "First M2TS file" to 39.

4. On the Split & cut tab, check "enable cutting". As Steve stated, leave "start" at zero and "end" @ 132 sec.

5. Then "Start muxing", only takes a min or two.

6. Navigate to the Home Theater BDMV, Clipinf folder. Then rename 00039.clpi to some other extension, such as "bak".

7. Next, go to the Playlist folder and rename 00064.mpls, as above.

8. Next, go to the Stream folder and rename 00039.m2ts as well.

9. Final steps are to copy the same 3 files, from the Blu-ray folders that you created, into the Home Theater folders.

10. You will now have a fully functional Baraka clip that will FF and return to menu normally. All timestamps are correct, just no popup menu.
____________________________________________________________ _______________________

Follow similiar steps for Master and Commander and iRobot. (although Steve used 1300 ms, I used 1 sec as the cut point and pixelation was completely eliminated.) However, in this case do not replace the mpls files. (this will keep the pop up menu option)

Master and Commander: 00027.clpi, 00027.m2ts,

iRobot : 00032.clipi, 00032.m2ts,

Edit: Steve, obviously feel free to use any of this to update page 1, if you wish.

hi, im looking to simply remove the 1 second pixelation on M&C and IR. i used the OP instructions for doing this but instead used 1 second as opposed to 1300ms. the instructions i used are below:

1) Download TSMuxer. It's a simple GUI and there aren't any installation process. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/ge...rsion_id=17995
2) Copy the 0027.m2ts and the 0032.m2ts files from the stream folder (in the BDMV folder) to another location on your harddrive.
3) Drag one of the files (either one) into the input window of TSMuxer
4) About halfway down the TSMuxer window, under "output", set the radio button to M2TS muxing and assign a filename to the output file (I called it 0027new.m2ts).
5) Go to the split and cut tab and click the checkbox that says "enable cutting" then type in 1 in the Start box and set the dropdown next to it to s (seconds). Then type in 4 into the End box and leave the dropdown on minutes. This means we are going to trim off the first 1.3 seconds (1300ms) of the clip.
6) Hit start muxing, process should be done in a few seconds
7) Repeat for the other file
8) Copy these files back into the BDMV/Stream folder but make sure they are renamed back to 0027.m2ts and 0032.m2ts.
9) I'd save the original copies of the two files just in case there are any problems.
10) Disc should now be void of the pixelated start on those two clips

so by doing this method as opposed to the one you mentioned above, will i get the menu pop-up error and sync issues with ff and rew? or is that only with baraka since you are changing the .mpls and clipini files (whereas you're not with the these 2)?

Kalani: You may want to consider upgrading the firmware in your BD-35. My 80 is of the same generation of yours and Panasonic did some serious tweaking for a while with updates and greatly improved picture quality. I noticed a significant PQ improvement with each firmware release on the 80.

Hmm, perhaps I'll give it a shot. Planning to upgrade it to an Oppo at some point, so I haven't really cared much, especially since everything has always worked great (if slowly).

Clip discs have been distributed in the past without issue (many, over the years, starting with DVDs). Not sure why it's an issue now. No full length movies, just short scenes, almost like a trailer.

Anthony, actually no, if you re read my post I DO change the clipi files for M&C/iRobot by way of tsmuxer output to Blu-ray vs m2ts. If the original clipi files are used (or "fixed" via Clipinf Editor) you won't be able to FF greater than ~2X.

The mpls file really needed to be changed for Baraka because of the long time span, till the end of the clip, where the screen would just be black. That wasn't an issue in the other 2, since only 1 sec was cut. Menu pop up option not being available is NOT an issue w/these 2.

There was only ONE seed when we were first trying to download, so count yourself lucky!

I'm in the middle of moving, so my computer is offline, but once I'm set up at the new house, I'll be seeding more.

Oh, I got it when there was only one seed, been seeding ever since.

My point was how many just grabbed it and ran. Everyone should seed until at least a 1 to 1 ratio, that's what peer to peer is all about, after all.

I had to set an upload cap so I don't go over my monthly bandwidth limit with Comcast. I'll seed until I hit that limit. I'm not a heavy user so hopefully they won't take notice and send me a nasty gram.

Do you mean "Play All" selection? If so, it's normal that you can't skip a clip ( there're are no chapters, as SS explained previously)

okay so i ended up following your instructions exactly as the method i did before did indeed have the ff/rew issue. i replaced the m2ts and clipini files for both but kept the mpls files untouched. it seems to work fine this way, just wasn't sure if you actually removed the old clipini (.bak) files as well as the m2ts files. if you kept them in the folder labelled as ".bak" is there any reason not to delete them completely after the new files have been placed in the folder?

No, no need to keep them Anthony. It was just a precaution if things didn't work correctly with the new files.

I have confirmed that my [BDMV] folder has 16 folders and 484 files, the total size of them is 46.1 GB (49,585,059,760 bytes).

However, after adding it into the burning project and performed a calculation, it shows 16 folders and 485 files, and the data I try to burn is 102% of the available space. I ignore that and still burned, of course it had failed.

Why did it go oversize??
