I finally received the 50mg discs I ordered off ebay (5 for $27). The first burn was a success. I played it on the computer but it's too late in the evening to test it on the HT system.

Might as well start another burn and go to bed.

I have over 2TB seeded do far.

Tried the disc out this morning on my Pany BDP210 player. Loaded and played perfectly. Great job Steve! Thank you.

These blank discs were $5.40 each.

Thanks,

Cheap media is fine if you're going to keep the files on your PC and have a burner. Which applies to most everyone that downloaded the disc. If your giving the disc to someone who isn't going to have access to reburning another then higher quality media should be used. Budget media often quicky suffers from read errors due to degradation plus has inconsistent burns.

ImgBurn will report the media ID, this ID + Google will tell you if it's high grade or not.

Again, doesn't matter much since if 6 months from now you have problems you can just cook off another copy.

OMG I got robbed! LOL.

Mine were free shipping too. MEI stands for Matsushito Electronics. Do you think they make them for all of the brands that list the same code? There are a load of brands with that same code.

Disc ID: VERBAT-IMd-000

As far as the MEI branding, I don't know.

ScubaSteve is selling copies...He took the link off the main thread for a while, but it is still active. You might should PM him and make sure he has time right now to make you a copy before you purchase one. Someone posted the link 1 page back.

basically.... I upgraded the video card and power supply and installed a SSD and bluray burner and I purchased a networking external HD. Then when I finally put it back together I was getting an error beep and blue screen. Spent like 2 days staring at it to figure out what it was. Turns out I broke a capacitor off the MB so now I need to order a new MB and rebuild the whole thing! I'll be super busy at my job from last week until the end of october so I just won't have any time to set aside for it. Whatever free time I do have will be spent with my son and maybe catching up on my netflix! I just ordered the compilation disc from steve as so maybe ill get a chance to watch that.

Let me guess, you have no idea what the value of the cap is, so you can't put in a new one?

Tech support from the mobo company can't help?

I'd like to order this, but I PM'd Steve to see if he was still selling with no response. Am I safe to paypal directly to the site? How long does it take to get the disc as of late?

Thanks,

Hey guys,

As per my post few pages back, i have now finished uploading this to Usenet as requested a while back .

Upload was done in just over 7hrs (remote location)

If you would like a guide on how to download form usenet, head over The Newsgroups Quick Start Guide @ SLYCK

You can download the NZB file nzb removed

I have included instructions in the upload about how to fix the pixellation issue that is minor as posted here.

For parity, only 5% was used but if you require more, just shout via PM or here.

A big shoutout to scubasteve for making the disc once again.

If you cannot download it due to ISP restrictions or otherwise, you can always purchase the disc including a cover from steve by visiting his site here

Enjoy everyone

Edit: First NZB was a fail post, reupping and will post proper FIXED nzb here, apologies for those who were getting an error

Edit2: Fixed and ready for download grab the nzb here

This is great. I just have one question. Using your contrast pattern, my contast setting was several notchs off from my prior calibration using Spears and Munsil Blu-ray. Brightness was perfect. Anyone else notice this anomaly?
