Like Vanice, my front wall treatment was already black so I didn't need to cover it. But I did cover my back wall since it had the shiny FSK facing. This stuff is pretty cheap and comes in a wide roll should you decide to cover everything before building your false wall.

All true. Just friction fit panels around screen. Big's minimalist screen wall design.

Goal posts up and 110" 1.78 Carada screen. Looks good me thinks!! I'll pull screen down and paint everything black, re hang and build surrounding panels.

And now the wait for carpet, 2-3 weeks!! Stupid HD. In the mean time I'll build the columns and fabric frames. Then once carpet is in, I'll add the trim, install columns, do the final wiring, hang acoustic frames, install speakers/projector, calibrate and boom, Bobs your uncle.

Looking good Fetch. It was frustrating waiting for HD on my carpet install too. They did do a good job on the install though. Hope yours goes well too. It will transform your room dramatically.

Installed surrounds.

Actually found an amazing deal on some Niles Stagefront Pro770fx, gonna leave these installed when I sell the house next year and keep my eD slants for new house.

Sides will be in bipole mode and rears in dipole mode.

Build Columns, wrap in fabric, install
Install trim around room
Build acoustic panels
Install speakers Did this out of order too just to clear up space in spare room

Seeing that it was -40 degrees C today, I got a few things finished in the room.

Tomorrow I hope to have screen wall panels wrapped and trim painted and installed. Then I think I deserve to hang the projector and wire up my racks and then crack a cold one and watch some hockey. Then start the acoustical treatments.

Paint ceiling and soffits/light tray - 3 coats
paint light gimble trims and vent covers, then install
Build panel door
install both doors
install OC703 on wall, bass traps and cover with fabric
Install auto door stop and bottom
Paint walls a blue/grey
Carpet riser and floor (HD's Platinum Plus Wondrous , Color -Yorktown, 286 sq ft) Hopefully carpet will be in this week.
Install theater seating - out of recommended order but need room in garage to muscle 4 x 8 sheets of 3/4" mdf around for columns, very tight quarters.
Install speakers
Build Columns, wrap in fabric, install
Build screen wall, install screen and
make friction fit frames
Install trim around room
Build acoustic panels
Install Projector
Setup racks and install all components
Calibrate
Party

I've heard of Infinite Baffle, any links to how to's, threads or users known?

Heard of REW, haven't read to much on it.

Adding a layer of drywall could eventually be a possibility, wonder how that would work for a textured ceiling?

I believe that rattling is in the ceiling somewheres.

Can you tell me what program you used to draw this up? Thanks

Hi Chase (Fetch),

Fantastic looking theater. How do you like your Fusion 1019 Escape seating?

Did you get the leather or bonded leather? Did you purchase them from Rtheaters (Roman)? How was the shipping costs?

Lots of questions. I am looking at purchasing 4 of the curved chairs.

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Joey

Thanks!
Bonded leather, from Roman yes. Shipping was ok. Remember to always record any damage to boxes with the person who delivers.

Love the chairs, would buy again.
