Those turned out great, well done! Looks like you used 1x3's and the Owens Corning 703 insulation. Did you just set the insulation in the frame of did you use some hot glue(or similar)? Also, are the frames setting flush against the wall?

Correct! I used spray adhesive on the inside of the frames to keep the insulation in. Had to cut it EXACTLY to size as there is no give in the material. I might try to use Roxul if I make more than 6 for he next batch.

The frames are sitting about 1/2" away from the wall, maybe less. I used a Monkey Hook, heavy duty one, for the panels and they just sit a bit away from the wall. Worked great!

My great room has dark grey walls and dark grey furniture, but the carpet is light colored and the ceiling is white. I have a light canon of a projector too. I'd like to build panels this summer and am curious as to how much I should worry about reflections should I go with family pictures or the like.

My initial thoughts are to go with either a darker or lighter shade of grey on the walls and my wife isn't ready to decorate that part of the house (the room is finished, but we want to do a bar before adding further decor).

Thanks!
