If you pre-order, pay.. and wait let him know you are cool, you'll be patient, and you appreciate what he does. You'll get them faster. Basically all that needs to happen is: Get the crossover parts and drivers, get the baffle CNC cut, ship it to you. No sense in needing to wait for a website modification to happen before the ball gets rolling. If you email him, he'll let you know a firm ETA or what the hold up is too. He's usually really transparent with that stuff. It might be something is out of stock, or the baffles aren't done yet etc... It's always something simple that makes sense. You'll feel better about waiting if you know what's going on too.

You never answered Fred about the surround choice. I vote 1099's all around.

Mr. Tim is back! Awesome! How goes the HT build, Mr. Tim? We've been a boat without a captain around here without you!

As far as the rosettes go, I think I've abandoned the idea. I don't have photographic proof of what's transpired in my room, so I haven't said anything about it. I suspect most of you will think I'm crazy once I admit to what I've done with those lights…… We shall see

I'm still up in the air about surrounds. I've got a question in to Nyal. I'll likely commit once I've heard back from him on the subject, but I wouldn't get my hopes up about the 1099's

Dude, are you made of leprechauns? Cause that was awesome!

Good to see Mr. Tim back.......take a hiatius for a few months and things really change at this place! We really need our respected theater code monitor around.

Hopefully, he stays away from my thread......what I don't know won't hurt me!

Yes, I'm back!

Thank you for the warm welcome, it was unexpected and appreciated!

The theater is in somebody elses' home now. I've moved to a new house, new state, new everything.

So, anybody in the South Carolina/Georgia area, I'm your new neighbor I got a m-f-in palm tree in my front yard! Heck yeah!

Things did change here on the forum. Many many new threads by people I don't know! But I did see a few familiar faces, this being one of them.

Hope I can continue to be of assistance! AM looking forward to catching up with all of you.

Tim

Congrats on the home sale! Is that a V2.0 theater in the plans?

I'm a little further south down here in Alabama, but the Southeast is a great place to live! Southern hospitality is a real thing, I can assure you!

Not enough room for HT 2.0. I am going to be doing MR 1.0 (media room 1.0) so I guess I'm not allowed to start that thread in this forum I did bring my two MFW subs and my ported subs, so I have that part handled.

Right now I'm refinishing the cabinets in the kitchen.. but I do have a craigslist meet tomorrow to pick up about 1000 feet of speaker wire

Everybody we meet has been terrific. We just love it down here. Even the school system is much better than the $30k per student school they were going to in NY. We already have a few great friends.

We are definitely roadtripping to Picayune MS to see some good friends of ours.. seems The Plains Theater might be a good halfway stop? *hint* *hint*

You're welcome here anytime, whether the theater is finished or not! If I ever do finish this thing up, I'll even let you and the family pick your favorite seats

Try living in the beautiful state of Oregon! No theaters here either!

Still sounds like a dumber waiter to me. Just the one doing the looking rather than the one in the rack

Is it bad form for me to make fun of your guests?

Raleigh not too far either. Almost have enough for a south east GTG if any one of us can manage to get our room done.
