Thanks. I like the seats and we still only have the rear row installed. I watched football in them most of the day, then we all watched Transformers 3 tonight and they felt great. Wife like that the arms move up so she can get close (note to self, keep beer in cupholder on wife side )

I may put a few ottomans in the room with the front row, just to kick my feet up for long days of sports and such.

Just down to the starfield setup, some wiring, and figuring out how I want to control it all now and then I'm done.

Hung both bar TV's tonight as well. Looking better.

Movie night:

We watched Transformers 3 last night. Had to keep the sound at -5db as the 2 year old was in the room. Sounded good, can't wait to get the money seats (front 4) mounted as I have it dialed in for that location.

Also had a chance to mount the front Magnepans on the wall using some custom built mounts and they look and sound great. i was a bit worried about the lower end Maggies not having enough bottom end, but matched up with an Elemental Designs A2-300 up front and that Custom Dual 8" sealed box from Elemental Designs under the riser its just right. The clarity from the Maggies is amazing, and though pretty directional, I'm loving it.

Turned up Transformers 2 for a few minutes today to +4db and the sound was excellent! Riser was thumping and you could feel the air moving in the room. I'm thrilled with what I have now and will continue dialing it in one the seats are mounted up front (waiting on the starfield frame to go in first).

Wow. I watched Trans3 with my three year old at -18db and room rocked....I can't imagine -5db.

Gonna have to try that tonight

Better shots of the mounts custom made for the Maggie's up front:

Blends in with the wall nicely in low light:

Well, more Middle Atlantic shelves came in last week, so I got most of the gear in. Still missing the 2U Rack HTPC

Also got the other 4 seats in place (still need to bolt them down)

This is looking outstanding! Kudos! Are you building a step up to the riser?

Thanks!

There's a step on the other side of the front seats. Not ideal as you would walk in front, but best I could do and still leave a path.

That 5th seat in back doesn't have the greatest sound either, but with six kids we needed some extra seats
